The Law of belief
The Law of Belief suggests that:
1. Our beliefs are our choice- conscious or unconscious.
2. Whatever we choose to believe consciously or unconsciously, becomes our life reality.
3. We can never achieve anything in our life unless we believe that we can.
Our beliefs influence our behaviors and actions. Behavior comes from your belief system. You cannot directly alter behaviors and actions without changing yours beliefs. If you believe you cannot do a task, you cannot. if you believe that someone is corrupt, you will find several reason to believe him so.
Your mind records whatever you believe in. If you believe you can not do a thing, your mind will record it. Mind cannot process anything unless it has the data for it. The next time someone or even you ask, ;;Can I do this?'' your mind will refer to stored files in its memory. It will find the file that says ''no''. So the answer will be ''no''. After having this ''no'' as an answer even if you try to do it, you will do so half- heartedly, believing that it is not possible for you. Therefore, it will not happen. It is as simple and as difficult.
Beliefs can cure or kill us. If you believe you die, you will die. Let me share with you a true story that a program participant told me.
A palmist told a 21 year -old woman she would die in water. She was married and had three children. She was superstitious and according to her husband, she was afraid of water. The family would go out for swimming and for her mere thought of water was killing. She would share her fear rather belief with her husband and her children every time they invited her for swimming or planned a vacation close to sea. The life went on and with it many things changed but her belief.
The children were now in their teenage and would make fun of her saying, ''mommy'' you see you are still alive, but you missed a lot of fun in your life due to this fear of life''. At the age of 39, while the woman and her husband were driving back to their hometown after attending a wedding, their car plunged into a canal after it went out of control due to tire burst. The man managed to escape from the drowning car, but the woman died.
The man told the police that the last thing he heard from her wife was ''Oh, I am dead''. and that within the first few seconds of the burst and much before the car actually landed in the water. He said his wife had died before the car drowned. Later on, the medical examination confirmed the husband's statements and suggested that the woman did not die because of drowning or any injury. She died due to heart failure.
Did you get it?. Yes, the woman died due to heart failure for she always believed she would die in water. She never even tried to save her life.
