The Differentiating Factor
Taking responsibility differentiates human beings from other creatures. Humans are blessed with the ability to make choices and choices determine fate. God determines all other creatures' disposition but of humans. Water is destined to flow from top to bottom. Birds, animals, and many others creatures wake up early in the morning and praise the Lord. Following their instincts, they return home before the sunset. They can never choose to do it otherwise. You will never find an animal choosing not to wake up in the morning because it was busy watching a movie last night. The same way, you will never find any creature choosing to kill self.
Human beings and genies are empowered by the Lord to choose to say ''no'' and do it against His order. He lets them choose their own destiny. A human being can choose no to praise the Lord, not to say prayers, not to abide by His will, not to learn, not to grow, and kill self. Having the ability to choose good from bad, not killing someone despite having the power to do so, returning evil the goodness, choosing to say prayers by turning the TV off, choosing not to drink alcohol, choosing not to steal something when no one is watching, choosing to stop at the red light when there is nobody on point duty, choosing to forgive a tormentor and so on, make human beings worthy of the title of ''superior being'' and the ''viceroy of God''. The choice becomes destiny. If you return a slap in your face with forgiveness, compassion, it determines the destiny. Forgiveness may make the person slapping you your best friend. A slap for a slap could get you the worst enemy today.
Killing him or her could kill you or push you behind bars for the rest of LIFE.........
